Product Description Sandbags are often used in both yoga and pilates to deepen stretches by placing the sandbag on your knees during seated poses, on your thigh in a kneeling pose, or to stretch your arms behind your back. Why pay the high costs of shipping 10 pounds of sand, and then be stuck with a 10 pound bag that may not be the correct weight for you? YogaAccessories™ Unfilled Sandbags contain a unique, double-zippered, leak-proof system so that you can easily fill the sandbags with any dry item such as sand, beans, wheat, corn, or rice. You can then adjust to your desired weight. Having both a zippered inner liner and a zippered outer liner prevents leakage. The outer liner can easily be removed and washed. The beautiful colors, exceptional high quality, and unique design all combine to make this an exceptional product. These bags are great for studios and health clubs! The sandbags come in many different colors, which many customers have used to differentiate varying weights. The dimensions of the unfilled sandbag are 7.5'' wide by 17'' long.

Sturdy Bag August 3, 2010 maclarry (Santa Clara, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use the sand bag as a punching bag to condition my hands for martial arts training, and it works nicely for that. The fabric is made of sturdy quality, and looks great. Most importantly, the sand doesn't leak out even though it's being pounded on.
Sandbags have many uses. May 16, 2010 Bao Q. Nguyen 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use two of these as weights to hold down my 9 feet tall light stands. You simply take out the inner bag and fill it with sand, rice, etc. Then slip it back inside the main bag and you're done. So far they're holding up well. Highly recommended for the price.
Durable bag, weak strap sewing on one March 2, 2010 Tyson Cecka (Seattle, WA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Right after filling on of these the strap ended up breaking off and will need to be re-sewn. Other than that they seem durable and well made.
(You Don't Have To Fill With Sand) November 13, 2009 Jamie Stroud 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This sandbag rocks! It's very strong and high quality. You don't have to fill it with sand. Rice is less messy. If you used rice, it'd probably fit up to 10 pounds before it was packed. Personally, I use this sandbag for gymnastics type training and I fill it with BB pellets. I bought 10 packs of 2,400 count BB pellets, which came to be about 20 pounds. This sandbag actually manages to hold it which is great! It actually has room to fit a bit more, possibly up to 30 pounds if I really packed it, but I haven't tested. Anyway, it works great for what I use it for (which is some pretty hardcore training) and I like that it has a handle which I wrap around my wrist to make gripping easier.

This is a great idea. I bought one. The quailty of the product was excellent. I liked it so well I purchased a second one. A good quality item at a great price and it's PURPLE.
