When you need a sandbag, you need a sandbag.
I purchased these for photo studio weights to provide ballast to tripods and light stands. Each one will hold a LOT more sand than I need, so I load them up and roll them to the size I need. This makes them very solid and provides a cushioned exterior covering to help hold them balanced in place.
Cheap and effective. Made of a woven, fibrous plastic type of material, this is perfect for my needs.
