14/366: Open to Grace
Blissful_Bee posted a photo: The first principal of Anusara yoga is "Open to Grace" and set your foundation. To me, this means that I open myself up to the possibilities that arise from the opportunities and experiences during this training. It reminds me to breathe and pause for when I get panicky or nervous during this whole process. I begun my teacher training with Keric and Maria Cristina today. It was really nice to see my friends from the Immersion last summer and to meet new friends that are joining me in this exciting journey. It’s my second training and it’s really nice to get that last one under my belt. Not quite as nervous but excited for the possibilites.

Five days of Yoga – Day 4
Philip Payne posted a photo: The forth of five images of Verity in various yoga asanas. We took some time during a dance shoot to photograph some of Verity’s yoga practice. Two Elinchrom heads in 80cm softboxes either side of Verity. The head to camera left is in front of the model and the head camera right behind. 580EX II camera left and behind model in the corner of the room. All triggered with RF-602 wireless triggers. 43/365: Half Moon Pose
Blissful_Bee posted a photo: The Sanskrit word chandra refers to the brilliance of the moon. In a pose like Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon Pose), the extension of your torso in one direction and the uplifted leg in the other draws a line that represents the flat edge of a half moon, while the energy in your extended arms and standing leg radiate out like beams in the night sky. This is one of my favorite poses because once I look up and open my chest towards the sky, the feeling is unbelievable. It’s just free! And despite the blurriness of this pose, I think it fits really well because it really captures the feeling and the light that comes with this pose. 
Yes, today I wore pajamas to work because it was Pajama day. Tomorrow is Fashion Disaster day! Continue reading
