Flappy Bob’s Photography posted a photo: I met again Ban Maharaj (my stranger #37 ) and he was together with a Backty disciple whose name is Gauravatar. Ban was very happy to see me again! Was happy with his photo too, and suggested me: "Why don’t you take a picture of him? Isn’t he a great stranger? Look at his face! It’s very interesting isn’t it?". "It is Ban, it is, I noticed him but I didn’t want to be intrusive". But after a while we were speaking all together in front of a bakery and I took the opportunity to explain Gauravatar the 100 Stranger Project. I tried to get the real name of Gauravatar: he’s clearly Italian, but he answered like this: "My only name is Gauravatar, the old one has no meaning except for social purposes. For me, having embraced the Hare Krishna movement meant a complete rebirth." Gauravatar was a smith, he showed me his hands and those hands really told a story. Now he loves to say he’s a handyman, depending on the needs of the community he joined. Gauravatar lives in small village near Rome, he’s 53 years old (and IMHO he doesn’t show his age at all).
